Dr. Handy has over 15 years of experience in both qualitative and quantitative social science research. She has worked on and directed many projects providing data collection, management and analysis. Dr. Handy’s areas of expertise are military personnel policy, population representation, civil-military relations, and defense and national security policies and analysis. She has worked with such clients as the Army Research Institute, the Army, Navy and Air Force, the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), the Immigration and Naturalization Service, and many other private and public agencies.
